Minaret Station

Accessible only by helicopter, Minaret Station Alpine Lodge is one of New Zealand's most exclusive wilderness retreats. Hidden within a remote glacial valley between Wānaka and the West Coast, the lodge is surrounded by towering peaks, alpine rivers and national parks, offering a level of privacy few places in the world can match.

With just four private chalets, Minaret Station combines refined comfort with authentic high-country hospitality. Days can be spent exploring some of New Zealand's most spectacular landscapes by helicopter, hiking through untouched alpine terrain, fly-fishing remote rivers, or simply unwinding in the peaceful surroundings. At day's end, guests gather in the Mountain Kitchen for exceptional cuisine showcasing produce from the station and the wider Southern Alps region.
